General

All elements of the wiki are available for free and non-commercial use.
Thus, you can download and modify the content without asking for special permission as long as this use is not monetized and the link to the official Maeiia's Universe website (https://maeiia.be) is notified.

Fanarts and other fan works

Fans have the opportunity to draw and reproduce Maeiia's Universe's resources in their own style and publish them wherever they wish.
It is advised (but not required) to notify Maeiia's Universe (on the Community Discord or Twitter) of your works so that they can be shared publicly and give you visibility.
That said, by drawing Maeiia's Universe's characters, you authorize its publication on the wiki under the condition of crediting yourself with at least one link redirecting to one of your network (most generally your main network or the one whose work has been published).
You have the right to view and modify these links which concern you.
If you wish to benefit financially, it is preferable to inform us by email or on the networks in order to grant you this possibility in writing with the limitations that will be imposed on you.

Commissions

Example of a commission board

In order for Maeiia's Universe to develop, we have to contact different providers. By contacting you, we comply with your requirements.
In the case of illustrated works, we submit a "commission board" containing the details of the references accompanied by a text highlighting the details and our requests.
This text is written in French but can be translated into a rough English.
We ask the providers not to reveal the works without our agreement before us so that we can keep the control on the ads although they are not bound to respect this commitment.

Contribute to the development of Maeiia's Universe

Contribute for free

If you wish to contribute to the development of Maeiia's Universe, please contact us by email at contact@maeiia.be and specify the nature of your request (translation, commission, etc).
It is recommended to write in correct French. English is accepted but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the exchanges. If you want to apply to be a contributor of the wiki to modify it or to be a French and/or English community manager, please wait for an announcement stating the opening of the applications. These will be published on the homepage of the site and on Maeiia's Universe's Twitter.
All applications sent outside of these periods will be ignored.
If you wish to contribute in another language, please contact us.

Actively contribute

Donation platforms are available to support Maeiia's Universe financially, you can find them on the Home page of this wiki.
You also have the possibility of acquiring derivative products in order to support the project while having a compensation.
All funds raised will only be used for new characters, music and other resources for the development of Maeiia's Universe, including the universe and vtubing.
You do not have the ability to choose which type of resource your donation will be used on and no money will be refunded once your donation is approved.

Warnings

Related to content not suitable for minors

Maeiia's Universe's universe may contain written or illustrated scenes that are not suitable for minors. As a precaution, we will not publicly disclose how to access this content.
Although adult content is available on separate pages from the general public pages, when browsing this wiki you must ensure that this content is not brought to the attention of younger people.

Related to morals

Some situations involving various characters may offend the sensibilities of some people and may be illegal depending on the country.
This content may include, but is not limited to, same-sex marriages, polygamy, religious beliefs, and trivialized and extreme violence.

About artificial intelligence (AI) programs

In order to respect the work of our collaborators, we do not recommend using our artworks, conceptarts, fanarts and any other content for the use of artificial programs producing illustrations.

Related to content creators

1. Content designated "NSFW" (Not Safe For Work) is tolerated.
2. However, we do not accept in any way or manner scenes involving, but not limited to, pedophilia, zoophilia or containing hatred towards any real community or religion.
3. We will NEVER commission such content as described in point 2 and we ask that you NEVER proceed with the execution of such works.
4. The same applies to non-consensual sexual scenes, regardless of the characters involved, whether they are all from Maeiia's Universe's universe or not.

• 4bis. In the case of non-consensual sexual scenes, an exception exists within the framework of the writing of the script of an official scenario under the sole condition that it is justified and necessary to the development of the plot of the story. Only the scriptwriters officially authorized by Maeiia's Universe are allowed to write this kind of scenes within the limits of the rules written in the 2nd paragraph.

Copyright

Maeiia's Universe has the necessary authorizations to distribute and profit from sales of derivative products featuring the characters and the resources attached to them.
These resources include, but are not limited to, music, characters, voices, scripts, merchandise (mugs, posters, etc).
Owning one of these products gives you the right to enjoy this product but does not give you any right on the associated resources which remain under the exclusive property of Maeiia's Universe.
Only the artists of the original characters are allowed to use Maeiia's Universe's characters wherever they want and to take advantage of them, without any particular authorization.

• Using any of Maeiia's Universe's resources for your own personal gain and without authorization may result in legal action.
  

Character frames

The frames used on the pages come from cette page iStock of which Maeiia's Universe has a Standard use allowing to enjoy all the possibilities that it includes, including a commercial use.

Exceptions

The characters illustrated in the category Outreâmes benefit from a right of exploitation by Maeiia's Universe but do not hold the property of which the rights remain with their owners.
The respective authors can at any time the right of exploitation to Maeiia's Universe. In this case, no more content will be created with these characters.

Language

The main broadcast language is French.
In case of translation into other languages, the French version is the only one to be considered as authentic if there is a conflict.
